Vernissage: Cooking, Time?
Welcome to the opening of the art exhibition "Cooking, Time?". In the exhibition, artist Sarah Kazmi and curator Noor Bhangu take a closer look at Pakistani labor migration to Norway and the encounter between migrants and Norwegian society.

How has the immigration from Pakistan to Norway in the 1960s and 1970s been experienced, told, and preserved? Through various artistic expressions, and with food and culinary traditions as a central theme, the history and sources used to tell it are explored.
Welcome to the exhibition opening on Thursday, April 18th at 6:00 PM at Intercultural Museum in Tøyenbekken 5.
The exhibition will be opened by journalist and author Shazia Majid and State Secretary Even Hagen from the Ministry of Culture. There will also be a performance by artist Sarah Kazmi and Mudassir Sheikh.
The event is free and open to all. Welcome!
